The details

Getting excited yet? We are!!
We’ve answered a few questions here and we need some food choices, please.
Please can you respond by 14th July.

The airport used to be full of taxi firms bidding excessively for your business. The government has since stopped this and regulated pricing.
Simply pop to a desk and grab a ticket with a taxi number, it’s on the right as you exit the airport.
The taxi’s are waiting across the road.

It’s a 40 minute drive from the airport and should cost 400 dirhams (or 40€) per car. We’ve seen some good deals on these websites if you are arriving in groups:

Taxi’s aren’t easy to get in The Atlas Mountains and should be booked in advanced.

The bridesmaids will be wearing burnt orange to fit with the Moroccan theme.
Our wedding will start early evening on Saturday but it should still be warm. You are welcome to wear shorts, sandals and ditch the ties, if you’d prefer.
You do not need to worry about covering shoulders or knees for religious reasons, at the Kasbah.

You can use pound, euros or dirhams at the Kasbah, There is a government exchange rate set throughout Morocco so exchanging money is better when you are there. Dirhams are hard to get hold of in the UK, when we have the exchange rate has been terrible.
Cards are accepted but 3% will be added.
Our advice is to take pound and pay in pound.

The food and drink you consume outside of those included will be signed for and added to your room – you’ll pay on checkout. You could settle your bill daily if you’d prefer.

As an example, a light buffet lunch is 165 dirhams, about £15.
Alcohol is permitted, well stocked with most spirits and is reasonably priced. Bottled beers are £3-4, a glass of local wine £4-5.

Full payment for the Kasbah is required on August 1st. Could we please ask that we have received your room payment by July 31st.

“Kasbah Angour offers an exciting range of guided excursions to discover the beautiful Atlas Mountains landscape and the way of life of the Moroccan Berbers. Excursions can be half a day or a full day.
In the immediate vicinity of Kasbah Angour there are some excellent guided walks to enjoy.”

There are plenty of tour operators if you wanted to organise something BEFORE you get to the Kasbah, but once there the only option is too book through them, but they have lots to offer:

The awkward one.
We really appreciate the time and money you’ve already devoted to celebrate with us so we don’t expect gifts.
But of course, if you insist, then a contribution to our honeymoon would be very kind.

Don’t forget to bring an inflatable so we can fill the pool! 📸🦩
